At Wiliv Ltd we offer a person-centred approach to the development of each young person we support. This is built around the needs and choices of each young person and involves the young person from the outset. As part of this process, we hold the following values:

Our objectives
Wiliv Ltd believe that wherever possible, young people benefit from living within a family. Wiliv Ltd recognise that for some young people, this is not always possible and that living in a semi-independent accommodation can be the most appropriate alternative. We will enable the young persons to develop their skills towards independence whilst they are growing into young adults. Wiliv Ltd will develop person centred pathway support packages for the young people in the service. We will offer opportunities for each Young Person to learn, grow and make informed choices about their future, whilst offering an environment in which they can take time to repair and move forward from adverse experiences in their life. Young Person will be supported in developing skills knowledge and attitudes needed to live outside the institutional system.

To promote safety for the young person, Wiliv Ltd will ensure that each young person has a holistic risk assessment, that is regularly reviewed.

Wiliv Ltd will ensure a caring, nurturing and stimulating environment that enables young people to reach their potential, building on strengths and celebrating individual achievement. The young person will be enabled to meet their health and emotional needs. Wiliv Ltd will provide a safe environment, free from abuse in its many forms, including bullying and any behaviour that is disrespectful of the individual or groups of individuals or their family or community.Facilities and Services
The maximum number of Young People in our properties will be three at any one time, with the number deliberately kept small in order to adhere to our policy of providing tailor-made packages of support.
Each Young Person has their own bedroom that can be locked, allowing for both privacy and security. Bedrooms are fully equipped and provide a space to relax and study privately. All Young People may hold a key to their own room. For safety reasons, staff can gain access to bedrooms and bathrooms if necessary. Young People are encouraged and will be supported to personalise their own rooms.
The shared communal area comprises a lounge with a TV for all. Wi-Fi will be available for all Young People. There are shared toilets and baths rooms. There is a shared kitchen a cooker, fridge and freezer, cooking utensils and food storage space. A washing machine, ironing board and iron are also provided.
We offer both short and long-term placements with each room tailored to the Young Persons’ needs according to their package of care. Our properties are also covered under our contents business insurance. We will not allow overnight guests and the Young People will be expected to return to the premises at an agreed time.
Staff will be available to support Young People over a 24hour period. Wiliv Ltd also operate a staff on call support facility where support, advice and guidance can be sought at any time from senior Managers within the organisation.
